The Innovation Battlefield consists of 24 participants who are divided into 6 groups. Innovation Battlefield consists of 2 sessions, Master Class, and Battlefield. In the Master Class session, each week, participants will be given material based on design thinking (plus UX Writing). Furthermore, in the Battlefield session, participants will present their work results based on the material they have obtained that week.
My team got the theme "Creative & SME," where this theme aims to advance Indonesia's creative economy sector. The creative economy subsector we have chosen is the film industry sector.
In 2016, the film, animation, and video sub-sector's growth rate was the second-highest based on our preliminary research. Which was 10.09%, becoming one of the sub-sectors prioritized by the tourism sector (source: Kemenparekraf).
However, according to Kemenparekraf, there are challenges in the film creative economy sub-sector, namely the options for obtaining a film team (director, screenwriter, crew, and actor/actresses ) very limited. Therefore, a strong community network will help connect every stakeholder so that the film industry runs well. In fact, the sub-sector in the creative economy will progress if the clusters, workers, and communities run well (source: Mt. Auburn Associates, 2000).
From the results of this initial research, we aim to connect people in small film communities so that these communities can have sufficient resources so that the film sub-sector can grow.
We use a design thinking framework to solve the challenges we get.

At this stage, we focus on knowing the target users’ behavior, habits, problems, and needs.
Useful research relies heavily on clear problem statements. The research problem statement will describe the topics and goals of the research we are doing. And this is our problem statement:
